  1. OK~ friends,As you know, we will be without our beloved Roe, NTB for a ridiculous amount of time. I decided to set up a blog to keep her current with our lives. She wants to be kept up to date with all of our important life happenings.... such as what you had for lunch, haircuts, waxings, etc. Please check back often!!!

  2. Okay, right now, I have absolutely nothing going on. I do have a hair appointment on the 26th. I need it so badly because my gray is growing in. Roe, we are going to miss you!!

  3. Important life happenings, huh? Well, I made dinner tonight (for the first time in a while) and it was somewhat edible. Judah B. opened 2 more presents tonight - a puzzle and a phonics toy (doesn't it suck to have 2 teachers as parents??). He seemed enthralled by both - we think he'll be the next Will Shortz (aka Puzzlemaster). When can I stop by with latkes??

  5. Well I went and met with yet another doctor today this one at the Rosenfied Cancer Center (help me). He scared the piss out of me. How much time between ativan did you tell me??

On a happier note my 7 fish are so happy to be a part of the feast!!!

  6. LOL-Roe you are too much! And Sandy thanks for doing this!!!!

Well Roe I ate latkes and pizza today (but you knew that). The stomach was not so happy with me! What else? Like a lunatic I spray painted 24 wreaths made from plastic baggies today after today at around 3:30. Tienne, Mia, Hayley, Robyn and Tienne were lucky enough to see my craziness in full effect as the wind went one way and my gold (actually brass) spray paint went another. Made for an interesting twist on the manicure I paid for last week.

    See you tomorrow!!!

  7. While you're busy opening presents with the class, I'm surfing the net to finish my Chanaukah presents. You we suppose to help me do this shopping. You know it's really suppose to be about me, not you! Perhaps when you are home, you will do my Valentine's Day gifts. I hate shopping. What time is dinner? I fish.

We built an igloo on Saturday and went ice skating on Sunday -kinda ruined my back, but we had a great time! Our kids are crazy. All we did was eat an drink. Well, the new year is around the corner. Let's lift our glasses and hope it's a good one for everybody. It certainly is a fabulous start knowing you are in tip, top shape. Please rest! Love ya

  39. I really have to stay put! I went to the store today (poor Stewy he's afraid not to take me) and now I'm beat. I did manage to go to Panera for lunch. Can I drink with pain meds?? I must be feeling better.
I did get a bit of a scare today my doctor called (you all remember what happened last time she called )anyway the final pathology report came in and actually I was upgraded (lucky me) to grade 2. It doesn't change anything and I still don't need any other treatment but I did pop an ativan. I'm soooo lucky. Maybe everyone should get checked.

    ReplyDelete
  40. As your non scary ..I hope..medical friend (ask Sarah) Ativan is much safer with the pain meds than a drink. Don't you love Panera! I do especially the soup in the bread bowl and the salmon sandwich! Glad you got out.

  41. It's New Year's Eve! What's everybody doing? I have to live my life vicariously through everyone else. I did something to my back in Vermont and now I am paying for it - so I homebound tonight. The girls are coming over today and we're going to make soft pretzels. Just what I need is more food. Come on - someone must be doing something fabulous tonight!

  50. Hi Roe,
How's it going? I thought I would write today instead of calling. Did you finish your kitchen drawers? What's on the schedule for today? I can tell you this getting dressed in the morning is a whole process that I won't bore you with and now I have the added problem that everything is too tight. I wonder how that happened!? Well, by the time I'm done getting dressed it's lunchtime. How annoying is this? Have you noticed how positive I am. Talk to you later. ginny
